DoPDF is an easy-to-use utility for PDF conversion. It installs itself as a virtual PDF printer and after installation it appears in your printers list. With doPDF you can convert documents/files into searchable PDFs from any application that supports printing.
Using doPDF is very simple. With a single click you can convert your Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint documents and web site pages to PDF files. To convert to PDF, you just need to open your document, choose print option and select doPDF from the list of printers. It will then ask you to save the PDF file and when finished will create the PDF file in your specified location, where it can be viewed by means of any PDF viewer.
DoPDF is an excellent tool for PDF conversion, which is lightweight and is available in multiple languages. It also allows you to customize the resolution and define custom page sizes for each conversion. One of the important features of doPDF is that it allows you to embed fonts in PDF files enabling you to view them with the same fonts used in original documents. Interestingly, this useful PDF conversion utility is absolutely free for both personal and commercial uses. |
